Wow! The show opened in Oakland, CA today, and it was one of the best openings I've ever been to for one of my shows. The cast is stellar. Everything looked and sounded great. There were about 500 in the audience, and the reaction of the kids was just great. I even got a little bit misty when the cast started singing "It's A Great Big World" and the kids started looking and pointing to one another, then swaying, then clapping, then singing along.

I'm so pleased with the Cast and Crew of JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (AND THE GIANT, AND THE GOOSE, AND THE REALLY TRULY-ULY ROTTEN DAY), now rehearsing for a world premiere by East Bay Children's Theatre in Oakland, CA.
